I’m a 50 year old business man living in Nigeria. I have been suffering from degenerative disc disease for almost two years. The pain was so bad that it made it difficult for me to walk, sit and lie down. I love squash and have played for 18 years, but the back pain was so great that it stopped me from playing. I met a Neurosurgeon in Nigeria and the UK, and surgery was a suggested option from one of them. I went on to have physio in the UK which didn’t help much, so I went back to Nigeria. I then tried 5 different therapists at home with little moderate improvement. My wife thankfully found Back Clinics of Canada, and I agreed to fly to Canada to see if I was a candidate for care.
Since I completed my care I feel so much better. The cramping and tingling on my legs is gone and the cramps in my hands are gone! I can now ride my stationary bike and it was so good to be back.
It was worth coming to the clinic to see if the doctor can accept you for care. I came from Nigeria and it was so worth it for me, and my wife is happier that I’m feeling better as well.
Sincerely yours,
Femi
