During the spring of 2020 I noticed i had some minor back pain, and a clicking feeling when I’d bend over, which would radiate up my entire body. I chose to ignore this and unfortunately over the course of a few years the minor back pain developed into chronic back pain, as well as sciatic pain down my leg that essentially left me unable to sit, stand, lay down or do pretty much anything. I couldn’t even sleep!!!

My family doctor unfortunately recently left the practice and I was trying to use walk in services to manage the pain, which essentially boiled down to “lose weight, take some Tylenol if it really hurts and try some stretches.”

After many months of continued pain and limited help I searched for treatment options and Back Clinics of Canada came up and I became interested in the spinal decompression and laser therapy. I read many reviews and decided I had nothing to lose so in early 2023 I booked a meeting with Dr. Ron, and he sent me out for scans and determined I had degenerative disc disease on my L5S1 disc.

I began treatment and while initially sceptical of any treatment that promised such pain relief, within about 4 treatments my pain was quite significantly reduced. About 3/4 through my treatments my pain was almost entirely mitigated and as of now I’m essentially pain free.

I wish I could stress how transformative this has been for me, I can now sleep better, play with the kids again, and have felt reincarnated into the body I had before my pain developed. I even lost about 30 pounds as of writing this!

I want to thank Doctor Ron and his staff who are excellent and helpful. The treatment plan was very detailed and following my initial treatment, I have been provided with exercises and a continuing treatment plan that will hopefully prevent me from ever being in such pain again.

If you’re hesitant on the treatment, but you’re suffering from back pain, I wish you’d take my review to heart. I’m a 42 year old engineer who is now pain free. I would have given anything for such a feeling last summer, but all it took was a call to Back Clinics of Canada and a meeting with Doctor Ron.
