What I’ve done this month that I couldn’t do for at least 15 years:
1. Shake water out of my ears.
2. Get my hair washed at the salon without being in excruciating pain.
3. Check my blind-spot without shifting my whole body.
4. Sleep on a plane.
5. Lie with my head on my husband’s shoulder for longer than a minute.
6. Read in bed without pain.
7. Touch my ear to my shoulder.
8. Go out in the winter without a turtleneck.
9. Turn my head quickly to see something and not feel electric shocks through my neck.
10. Wear heavy jewelery (necklaces).
