I couldn’t be happier with my results from working with Dr. Nusbaum. I had an incredibly herniated disk in my low spine that caused me intense pain when standing, bending, and trying to lift things. There was literally no space for my nerves to pass by that section of my spine because the passage was entirely filled with what should have been inside my vertebrae, causing me shooting pain in my hip and leg, as well as weakness, and loss of sensation. There were about 8 months of my life when I essentially couldn’t walk or properly care for myself, and I was beginning to lose hope that I would ever be able to resume my life again. I tried physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, massage, and medication, but nothing seemed to help. I was told by endless doctors that my only option was surgery. I even had one doctor insist that without immediate surgery I could lose the use of my leg. My MRI was described as “impressive” by a surgeon, because of how severe my problem was. Things were looking pretty grim.

I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t found Back Clinics of Canada. To everyone’s amazement, through the treatments of spinal decompression and laser therapy that I received with Dr. Nusbaum and his wonderful staff I began to feel some relief, and continued to improve beyond anyone’s expectations. I am endlessly grateful to be back on my feet again. Thank you Dr. Nusbaum. You and your staff really made me feel cared for throughout my time at your clinic. I would recommend your care to anyone.
