It was 10 years ago that I was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs the pain was so severe that I couldn’t walk! I was at home in bed for about 3 months. I had to take time off work. I had to stop playing sports. I couldn’t do a lot with the kids. I couldn’t sit on hard seats to watch a baseball game. I couldn’t sit in the car. Even social events were a challenge. I took tons of narcotics which helped with the pain somewhat but it wasn’t enough to be mobile again. Then I tried chiropractic and it was better. I had good days, bad days, still taking tons of pills. I tried shiatsu and massages they worked temporarily.
